Healthy Schools
Our school aims to be a Healthy School, this means having a whole school approach to promote health and well being:-
- PSHE (personal social and health education)
• We have a weekly lesson where we discuss issues that arise such as taking care of ourselves
• What happens when we fall out with our friends
• What to do if we think we are being bullied
• Making the right decisions
• From Year 1 we take part in sex and relationships education
- Healthy Eating
• we only have healthy snacks at morning playtime, Key Stage 1 has free fruit every day.
• Our school meals are designed to provide a healthy balance of food. If we have a packed lunch we try to make it healthy. Please click the following links to view a copy of our recent menus:-

- Physical activity
• We all swim from year 1 upwards, every week
• Lots of our after school clubs help keep us active
• We are encouraged to walk or ride our bikes to school. We have a walk to school a week every year
- Emotional health and well being
• We are a small school and one of the good things is we try and care for each other
• We talk about problems we might have or come across during PSHE
