Macmillan Coffee
On Friday 29th September 2006, Beckingham joined the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning by having it's own, in aid of the Macmillan Nurses, held in the Recreation Room, from 10.30am to 1.30pm, organised and run by Mrs Marion Brown and helpers.
As well as being able to enjoy tea,coffee,biscuits and a friendly chat, there were raffles and a tombola with some lovely prizes.

There was also a beautiful display by Virgin Vie, of jewellery and cosmetics, who generously donated half their sales taken on the day.
It was very well attended, despite the heavy rain and just over £500 was collected. A big thank you to all who came, were involved and who supported this well deserving cause.
