All St. Church
A "Sausage & Mash Supper Social" was held by All Saints Church at the Village Hall on Saturday 29th September.
Tasty sausages, mash and peas were served followed by a choice of three delicious desserts, as well as tea, coffee and squash, although people could bring their own drink if they so wished.
There were raffle prizes to be won, a beetle drive with a prize for the "prettiest" beetle and a general knowledge quiz with prizes for the highest and lowest scores.
About forty people attended and a pleasant and enjoyable evening was had by all. Grateful thanks go to the hardworking ladies in the kitchen and to all those who organised, helped and supported in any way. The amount raised from this event was £218.
