All St. Church
Beckingham cum Saundby Village Hall was the venue for the All St Church Pancake Family Social held on Tuesday 5th February 2008 at 7pm with pancakes galore and games with prizes.
The evening began with a beetle drive after which a prize was given to the person with the "prettiest" beetle. This was followed by a junior quiz - adult help not allowed! - of some 20 questions with prizes awarded to the winners.

Tasty pancakes were then served along with accompaniments of lemon, sugar and maple syrup followed by a large selection of delicious home made cakes with tea, coffee and squash. The evening ended with games of bingo, again with prizes. Some 70 people of all ages attended and a most enjoyable and fun evening was had by all. The event raised almost £300 for the Church Extension Funds. Sincere thanks are extended to the hard work of the organisers and everyone who helped with the evening in any way.
