All St. Church...
The Recreation Room was the venue for a "3 Course Sunday Lunch" held on Sunday 14th October 2007, in aid of All Saints' Church North Aisle Extension Fund.
36 tickets were sold, with all meals booked in advance. Everyone was welcomed to a sherry - or soft dink – reception in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The meals were served at the tables, the menu giving a choice of three starters and three main courses, followed by a selection of home made desserts, finishing with coffee. People were able to bring their own wine if they so wished. Five tables were elegantly set out in a pink and white theme for seven to eight people, with a beautiful floral centrepiece on each.
Grateful thanks go to Caroline and Jayne and helpers Jacqui and Kathrine, for all their hard work and to all who were involved in the organising.
The delicious meals were greatly enjoyed by all the diners. A total of £500 was raised from this event.
